Job Title: HR Manager

Part-time, Permanent, Required as soon as possible

Salary £32,386 to £37,586 per annum (FTE); £15,081 to £17,503 per annum (actual)
Dependent on skills and experience

20 hours per week, term-time only, 38 weeks a year

We are seeking to appoint a HR Manager to join our central support team in fulfilment of our vision to achieve Excellence through collaboration.

The post holder will have overall responsibility for assisting the Trust and its schools by performing all aspects of the Trust’s general HR processes and administration including but not limited to staff absence sickness reviews.

The successful candidate will have relevant professional qualifications relating to HR and experience of this within a school setting.

Unity Schools Trust

Unity Schools Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust formed in September 2015 by the partnership of The Magna Carta School and Bishop David Brown School. The Trust is currently responsible for the education of over 1800 children supported by more than 250 staff. Our schools are located in Staines-upon-Thames and Woking. Both academies were rated as ‘Good’ in their most recent Ofsted inspections (2017 and 2019).

Job Title: Site Assistant

Full Time, Permanent, Required as soon as possible

Salary: £20,979.00 – £23,760.00 per annum (full time, dependent on skills and experience)

We are seeking to appoint a Site Assistant to join our central services team in fulfilment of our vision to achieve Excellence through collaboration.

The post holder will have responsibility for assisting both schools within the Trust – The Magna Carta School (Staines-Upon-Thames) and Bishop David Brown (Sheerwater, Woking) to ensure that school premises, grounds and building contents are appropriately maintained, cleaned, secured and fit for purpose in line with all relevant legislative requirements.

The successful candidate will have a practical understanding of health and safety, good DIY and/or trade skills, the ability to communicate effectively, be able to prioritise duties and work unsupervised and have a strong teamwork ethic. A clean driving license is desirable.

Site Assistants will be required to work Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week on a rotating shift system. During school holidays the shifts may be condensed to facilitate specific projects and tasks. Weekend working may also be offered.
